Master Business Systems Ltd was formed in 1995 by Laurence Bevan, and initially provided Information Management Services to the Manawatu District Council based in Feilding.
During this time MBS also developed database driven applications and websites to provide solutions to the local farming community.
In 1997 an Information Management Service contract was started with the Tararua District Council based in Dannevirke.
From 2001 Master Business Systems have provided All Black statistics from it’s ABRugby Database to the New Zealand Rugby Museum and the New Zealand Rugby Union.
The first working version of GoGet was launched in 2005 on PDA devices. Early clients using the GoGet solution were Rangitikei District Council, Manawatu District Council and Tauranga City Council.
Over time the following additional authorities have started using GoGet, Compass Consultants, Manukau Building Consultants, Western Bay of Plenty District Council, Taupo District Council, Hastings District Council, Napier City Council, Tararua District Council, Horowhenua District Council, South Wairarapa District Council
The launch of GoGet in November 2013 by Christchurch City Council brought the number of clients to 14 using this solution.
Mid 2014 saw the addition of Nelson City Council, Wanganui District Council and Opotiki District Councils.
